Day 94 - like a Phoenix rising from Arizona

So the last few days I have been in that "feeling better but not 100% better" phase.  I am still taking nasal steroids and antibiotics for the sinus infection, but other than some decent mucus I am not feeling terrible.

Until I exercise.  I got back in the saddle on day 92 with some rope jumping as I described in my blog, and it felt terrible.  Heart beating out of chest, sinuses hurting, headache the whole deal.

Day 93 I also did rope jumping and while very tough it was better than day 92.  I did the 800 skips in sets of 100 and the last 2 sets did feel like I was going to die, but overall it wasn't too bad.

Today - day 94 was even better.  Went to the gym and ran a good distance for my 35 minutes and felt strong.  This was good, I was a bit worried that the time ill had really hurt my cardio.  I felt so good in fact that a few hours later I did 800 rope skips.  not sure why I did that to be honest, but I had the energy and went for it.

Now, I have NOT done any mat work still.  I am holding off a bit until I am fully recovered for the mat work as I am keeping my body busy working on all of these household projects this week.  I don't want to overstrain my upper body and lose effectiveness on the home projects.  Having said that I really want to get back on the mat work, my weight needs to come down and the mat work is a huge accelerator.

So as I have whined about incessantly, I travel a lot for work which means that I am subject to the volatile gods of restaurant food. Now.....I think I am doing OK with this - I just had a nice vegetable curry and threw out about half of it and I feel nicely full - but the scale tomorrow morning will be the judge of that. But one area of the diet where I am struggling on a regular basis is the egg requirement. I am being asked to have one whole egg with breakfast and one egg w
